Hi all,
I work at TrueCaller which is a mobile caller ID application showing you who the caller is before you answer.
TrueCaller works in more than 30 countries around the world including Finland of course.

TrueCaller is supported on Symbian, Android, Windows Phone and iPhone (with limitations though).

I wanted to start this thread because I have seen a lot of discussions regarding TrueCaller here and if you have any questions, please post them in this thread.
I´ll also keep you all updated regarding new updates and so on.

Our latest version for Symbian, TrueCaller 2.10 now supports Finnish language aswell. Best of all, IT´S FREE!

Hello mamedi! I have been using TrueCaller for a while now with my E71 and I have to say it works very well. One question though: Should the Social caller ID (with FB, contact is mapped) work when the person in question is saved on my phone's address book?

Hi,
the social caller ID works on your saved contacts in your phonebook. So you can either make truecaller to auto match your FB contacts to your phonebook contacts and then manually map contacts from your phonebook to your FB friends.

I think I have matched the contacts correctly, but Social caller ID is still not working. Other than that the app works very nicely.

Ok that sounds strange. So you mean that you have mapped a friend in your phonebook with the same contact on FB and you can see in the social->FB list that your friend has this FB icon to the right and when you call your friend or he/she calls you, you don´t get a truecaller window displaying the latest info about that person?

I have Nokia N8 and i tested this program, it's very good but...i'd like to get rid of that useless roaming warning. Because my operator is Saunalahti which operates in Elisa's network and that's why many application gives always roaming warning.

So can you remove it? Or put "Enable/disable roaming warning" option in settings?

Always when i boot my N8, True Caller is just "hanging" in background and waiting to that i allow roaming. It's very annoying. :/

Mitäs jos kävisit ne ohjelman asetukset läpi. Yleisistä asetuksista löytyy kohta estä ulkomaansiirto ja oletuksena se on kyllä asennossa. Siinä varmasti ratkaisu ongelmaasi.

Hahhah, voi perhana sitä on ollut sokea. Selasin kyllä asetukset läpi, mutta eipä tullu sitte muka tuota huomattua/tajuttua. No aina ei voi onnistua.

Jostain syystä ei aukea iphonessa enään viimeisin päivityksen jälkeen. Ratkaisua?

Minkälainen tämä truecaller on ollut käytössä? Kellään Androidissa? Vähän epäilyttää, kun puhelinluettelo pitäisi laittaa jakoon, että saa ohjelman käyttöön.

Täällä on callerinfo ja se ei vaadi puhelinluetteloa käyttöön. Itse olen tykästynyt tähän. Suosittelen ainakin kokeilemaan.
